Legacy Horsemanship Camp located in Woodinville, WA, is perfect for children ages 7-12 who are passionate about horses and riding.

Campers will be participating in an actual “Horsemanship Camp” where our experienced instructors and well-trained lesson horses provide a positive learning environment with safety being first and foremost.

Campers will be given one hunt seat (English) riding lesson each day of camp and they will learn basic horsemanship skills such as handling, leading, grooming, tacking up and un-tacking after each lesson.

Riding time is limited to one lesson per day. The rest of the day is dedicated to learning horsemanship through games and interactive experiences. This will include general horse care, terminology, anatomy, minor ailments, tack and equipment, feeding, safety around horses and much more.

MEET LEGACY’S ACADEMY HORSES

When learning to ride, it is important that the horses already know their job so that you can learn yours.
Our school horses are professionally trained, experienced school masters and, in many cases, are also "retired" show champions.
