Summer Horsemanship Camp sessions are open to both current and new students ages 7 and older

Camps are $960 per session.

We ask that campers new to Legacy take one riding lesson prior to the start of the camp session (this lesson is included in the cost of the camp session).

Your child will be participating in an actual “Horsemanship Camp”.

Campers will be given one english/hunt seat riding lesson each day of camp and campers will be given hands on instruction in basic horsemanship skills such as handling, grooming, tacking up and un-tacking the horse.

Actual riding time is one lesson per day. During the additional hours campers will receive extensive instruction in general horse care, anatomy, minor ailments, tack and equipment, feeding, safety around horses and much more.

MEET LEGACY’S ACADEMY HORSES

When learning to ride, it is important that the horses already know their job so that you can learn yours.
Our school horses are professionally trained, experienced school masters and, in many cases, are also "retired" show champions.
